Horde leveling areas that shouldn’t be in your leveling path

For almost any level range, you have multiple choices in World of Warcraft when it comes to the zones you can choose from. However, if you choose the wrong zone as your mission destination, you may end up losing a large amount of XP. So, here are some Horde leveling areas that shouldn’t be on your leveling path, if you want to maintain a high XP rate.

1. Throat of Fire. This is one of the Horde leveling areas with stinking accessibility. Although it is a rocky area with high visibility, there is a large pit, The Cauldron, in the middle, full of dark iron dwarves. There are several sets of tunnels with some exits in The Cauldron, and every time you choose a set of quests, you have to use the elevator and go down those tunnels, and fight dozens of mobs until you reach your quests destination. . It might be easier for a stealthed character, but for most classes this area sucks. Instead of this zone, you should choose Tanaris, for the 45-50 level range.

2. Swamp of Sorrows. Although this zone has a major new quest hub: Bogpaddle, which is neutral, and you can get good XP here, both as Horde and Alliance, I’d still say a much better option for this level range would be Un’Goro Crater. In Swamp of Sorrows you don’t benefit from high visibility and there is a lot of aggro everywhere. You’ll find a lot of herbs in this area, so for a herbalist it could be a decent leveling destination, with each herb node providing good XP. However, you won’t find many mineral nodes here, making it a poor choice for miners.

3.Wood. The last of the Horde leveling areas I’m going to talk about in this post, which you shouldn’t level up for, is Felwood. It is located in the northwest of Kalimdor. The reason you shouldn’t level up here is that there’s too much distance to cover from quest to quest, and from the quest hub to the quest destination, and accessibility sucks. The only reason you should come here is to befriend or be honored with the Timbermaw Hold faction, for the pretty enchanting recipes. A much more workable and fun solution is Thousand Needles. You can assemble your own boat, complete some cool underwater missions, and the mission content is a lot of fun to follow.

As I said, these are Horde leveling areas that you should not choose as your XP destinations, on your way to the level cap. On the other hand, there are areas that you should by no means skip.
