Young Living essential oils can relieve asthma symptoms

Young Living makes a blend called RC that works surprisingly well for asthma. I have seen it stop an asthma attack and it is powerful in opening up the airways and reducing wheezing. When used in conjunction with another blend, Raven, it works to provide long-lasting relief.

My husband suffers from asthma, and the combination of Young Living essential oils, high-vitamin cod liver oil, fairly high doses of vitamin C during allergy season, and lots of raw milk which studies show has a protective effect against asthma, it has worked to keep you off your inhalation for two years. Vitamin-rich cod liver oil contains vitamins A and D, which support lung tissue and the immune system, and vitamin C is useful during any type of allergic response.

My kids occasionally get bronchial congestion from colds, and RC works amazingly well to help them breathe at night and stop excessive coughing. They also haven’t had to take antibiotics for a secondary infection, so I believe the essential oils help boost immunity so your body helps fight disease more effectively. I sometimes put RC or just peppermint in a cool mist diffuser in their rooms when they have colds, and this helps relieve congestion and aids in sleep. Cool mist diffusers disperse small essential oil particles into the air so they can be inhaled without heating them to high temperatures. In fact, essential oils should never be burned because they contain small amounts of volatile organic compounds that can be toxic when heated.

RC works well for ear infections, sinus infections, and I have heard many testimonials about its ability to heal pain from bone spurs and bunions. Its fragrance is powerfully invigorating, and I have seen people amazed time and time again at how Two drops in the palms of the hands, inhaled deeply, can penetrate through congested sinuses and lungs to aid normal breathing.

It is not in human nature to believe that something so simple can be so effective. What intrigues me so much is that it seems that nature has provided us with the necessary tools for good health if we simply take the time to explore them. It’s a bit of a change to use an essential oil instead of a cough syrup, for example, but once you make that change, it becomes second nature and it’s hard to imagine using anything else.

I am especially grateful that I came into contact with Young Living essential oils for the sake of my children. They have endless tools at their fingertips that will help alleviate symptoms so they never get used to using over-the-counter products. They are learning to listen to their bodies and respond in a way that works in harmony with nature and does not produce side effects. They enjoy using the oils because they smell good and when all is said and done, it’s fun.
