Value of an average reading
An intermediate reading has many uses beyond contacting deceased loved ones and obtaining evidence of their continued existence. It also opens up the very real idea that the afterlife is a real place and that we, too, will inhabit once we leave the earth plane after our transition or physical death.
The value of an intermediate reading can teach us a lot about who we are, where we came from, and where we return to once we leave our material lives. It is the greatest tragedy that these basic spiritual principles and for all are not taught at a basic and early school level. The world would be a much more compassionate and alive place if the masses knew without a doubt that this life is just a speck in the cosmos of such minute proportions and that life is eternal and one’s soul never dies.
Gordon Smith summed up the entire debate very well when he opened a recent mediumship demonstration to a live audience I was a part of when he said, ‘You can’t die for your life.’
An intermediate reading helps us overcome our fears of dying and opens a question about what fantastic things await us in the afterlife, there is a theory that death is merely an illusion of the senses and that the soul lives in a series of refinements .
I believe that the reality you will find yourself in after going through the transition called death will depend entirely on your beliefs and mindset while you are on the spiritual plane. For an enlightened person who fully realizes that we have manifested on earth in a physical body, but that we originated as a spiritual body or a spiritual being, the transition to the spiritual world will be much easier.
Your current reality is a state of your consciousness now, so why would the next phase of our existence be any different? In the spirit world it is ruled by thought as there is no need for the clay known as meat! If one wishes to reside in a castle, he must use his own imagination and build it brick by brick.
When the self is still identified as the body, mind, or ego, this awareness will continue until the karma of the afterlife with another physical incarnation. The key is to free yourself from this cycle through new opportunities and full self-actualization.
The modern use of a great means for me is to release humanity’s fear of death, after all, many believe that death signals a simple stop and that this is the end of that character, body, ego and mind, when it’s more. definitely not, in fact, many in the spirit world refer to the physical earth as the strife and conflict of existence, thus inferring that the spirit realms are just fantastic and wonderful.
