The Last Revival / Christian Revival
Many are feeling in their spirits a never before seen Christian revival or the fullness of the latter rain that comes before the coming of Jesus. This is also known as the last revival or the end time revival. It is a spiritual revival or spiritual awakening that brings the final harvest of souls into the kingdom of God. Those who are students of the scriptures will know this to be true.
God has placed signs in the heavens to show His sovereign control over time and world events and to show us the lateness of the hour. Four blood moons will occur on Jewish holidays between April 2014 and September 2015. This is a very unusual sign. It has only happened a few times in the last 500 years. It happened in 1948 when Israel was formed as a nation and in 1967 when Jerusalem was again restored to Israel as its united capital.
Peter said in Acts 2 that ‘The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and remarkable day of the Lord’ (the tribulation period, which is the 7-year period in which the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, allows a series of never-before-seen judgments around the world to occur).
In this period of time a great war and victory will occur for the Jewish people. Much of the news headlines in recent years will peak in this period. However, it is only a preview of things to come during the Tribulation period. The final war is Armageddon at the end of the Tribulation.
Some of the fruits that accompany true revival:
Many turn from their bad ways. People will spend their free time doing the things of God. They will no longer be obsessed with sports and entertainment. The bars will be emptied. The game will stop. Pornography will end.
Many will be healed of diseases. The blind will see. The deaf will hear. The lame man will walk. This occurs when the glory of God is manifested.
People will have a healthy mind again. Today everything is distorted. There is a lot of deception in the world today. The Holy Spirit brings clarity and light to those who turn to Jesus Christ in truth. An article like this may seem silly to someone who has no faith in God. It may seem useless and without quality. However, spiritual things need to be discerned spiritually and what is crazy to the world is highly esteemed by those who truly know God.
The fullness will come to many. There is simply no substitute for a real relationship with Jesus. He truly satisfies one through His Presence and love.
