Should you join CCCS – Consumer Credit Counseling Service for Debt Relief and Financial Freedom?

Do you need to join a CCCS – Consumer Credit Counseling Service?

Are you in “debt hell”? If you’re not sure, ask yourself these questions:

  1. Have bill collectors calling you, your home and work, leaving annoying messages?
  2. Are you afraid to open your door in the morning because you are afraid the sheriff’s office has left you a gift from the court?
  3. When the phone rings, do you feel butterflies in your stomach?
  4. If you answer the phone and you are a bill collector, when they ask for you, you answer “He / she is not there right now”, or you just pick up the phone and then hang up without saying who is on the other end of the line. ?
  5. Do you go days without checking your mail because there are only bills there?
  6. When you finally receive the mail, do you throw it away somewhere random for weeks or even months without even opening it?
  7. Are you paying a credit card company’s bill with another credit card?
  8. Are your credit cards riddled with over the credit limit and late fees?
  9. Receive only high interest credit card offers?
  10. Have you applied for credit cards or car loans and been told they were denied due to bad credit?
  11. Does your credit report show a large number of late payments, cancellations, bad debts, 30, 60, 90, or 120 days past due on the list?
  12. Does filing for bankruptcy seem like the only way out?

If you relate to at least two of those items, you are likely to benefit from a consumer credit counseling service.

Trust me, I know what you’re going through. I was in this situation. I had recently moved from a large metropolitan area with a decent salary to a smaller area where the cost of living was almost as high and I had to accept a pay cut of almost $ 20,000. On top of that, I just had a baby and was a single mom.

I had to “live”, and with a $ 20K cut, it left me no choice (or so I thought) other than not paying the bills and getting the things I needed (baby formula, diapers, etc.). Let me tell you, I was depressed. I did not open my invoices for months in a row. The phone rang every morning from 8 am and continued until 9 pm at night. The bill collectors would call me at work and leave messages with their “800” numbers for their co-workers if I was not there. It was so embarrassing. I went on like this for about a year before I finally decided to realize that I had to do something.

I had seen commercials on television for “CCCS” consumer credit counseling and debt consolidation services that offered freedom from financial worries and the opportunity to regain your life and dignity, but for whatever reason, I didn’t take a chance. One day I was talking to a friend and he told me that they had joined Consumer Credit Counseling Services (CCCS) and that they were very relieved and without financial stress. CCCS was able to contact all of the creditors with whom they had credit card balances and was able to reduce the interest on their credit card to single digit interest rates and, in some cases, as low as 0% interest! Consumer Credit Counseling Services was also able to eliminate most late fees and over-the-credit limit fees, so that when they made payments, they went directly to their credit card balances and helped them pay. your debts faster.

All of this information was exciting and it seemed very promising to me, and now I had someone I knew telling me how it worked for them, so it became much more realistic. I looked in the yellow pages for credit counseling agencies and found my local branch of Consumer Credit Counseling Services. I called them, made an appointment, and went inside. I was assigned a counselor and I met with her for about an hour. When I got out, I had a great sense of relief. They prepared me with a plan of action on how my debt was going to be paid off. They assured me that the annoying and harassing debt collection phone calls were going to stop. I was only going to have to worry about making a payment to my local CCCS office, and they would take care of the hassle of sending all credit card payments to my other creditors. In two years, he would be debt free.

If you are in a similar situation, I urge you to seek consumer credit counseling services. They can get you back on track, reduce your stress, improve your life and that of your family, and change your life in general for the better.
