The Real Flying Monkey Delta from Bill Barnes and Company is one of several new models of remote control airplanes that are now available on the market. It is a model that has been inspired by, and modeled after, the original N scale (not the smaller scale that is used for smaller radio controlled airplanes) produced by Gibson. I was surprised to find that it shares a lot of the characteristics of the original, including its long wingspan, large rudder, large propane tank, and its “flying” characteristic. But, it also has some new features as well.
One of the most unique characteristics of this new delta model is the way that it flies. Instead of using the momentum of lift to produce its forward motion, the delta wing uses the air flow around it as its thrust. This results in much better agility and control. It also results in an increase in safety since the increased airspeeds prevent other nearby aircraft from being able to catch up with it.
In addition to all of this agility, the Real Flying Monkey Delta also offers good control. And, best of all, it is very affordable! Considering the amount of work that is put into these remote control airplanes, it’s amazing that they cost so little. I found that it was actually cheaper to buy the Real Flying Monkey Delta than it was to buy a brand new remote control plane. And, when I compare it to the cost of many high-end model airplanes, it is clearly an excellent value.
A Great Remote Control Model
Now, I should probably warn you about one thing. The Real Flying Monkey Delta doesn’t come cheap. In fact, you can even buy it online! That is quite a shock for me, considering that the cost of the airplane is in the high five-figure range.
But, if you are into RC flying and you haven’t gotten a chance to try this delta model out yet, you really have no choice. I would highly recommend it. It is, in my opinion, every bit as good as a brand new remote control plane, and it’s a whole lot less expensive. In fact, if you can spare just a few hundred dollars, you should definitely get the new Real Flying Monkey Delta.
It’s really just a perfect example of how technology improves and builds upon itself. As the delta began development, it was envisioned as a new remote control airplane, but then someone saw that and realized it could be used for flying. A little bit of research turned that idea into reality. This is one of those rare cases where the dream became a reality. If you love flying and anything remotely related, this is one sure way to add a thrill to your next flight.
