Some of you may have never heard of kefir before. And that’s fine. And maybe some of you have probably wandered into the grocery store or your local Trader Joe’s and seen kefir.

So is kefir better than yogurt? Is yogurt better than kefir? They are the same? What is the difference?

If you look at the VS. chart I drew above, both yogurt and kefir contain live cultures.

WHAT ARE LIVING CULTURES?

Live cultures are the good bacteria that are so important to your health and clear, acne-free skin. Without live cultures, not only would you have terrible skin, but you would also have a lot of trouble absorbing nutrients, and eventually many organs would fail. Ultimately, you would die a pretty gruesome death with disease and organ failure.

Now we all have different degrees of live cultures in our body depending on how we treat our body, how we eat, how many bad bacteria we have living in our body that fight the live cultures, what kind of antibiotics we have taken. the past etc
