Grilled Fruit Recipes That Will Make Your Mouth Water

Grilled Kiwi Bites with Creamy Coconut Fuzz

What do you need:

  • 6 kiwis cut in half lengthwise
  • 1 can cream of coconut, refrigerated overnight
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

To make the cream, take the coconut cream out of the fridge and turn the can upside down. Discard any liquid. Pour the cream into a bowl along with the powdered sugar and beat until fluffy. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Heat the kiwi slices on a preheated grill over medium heat for a few minutes, until the bottoms begin to caramelize. Spoon a tablespoon of the coconut fluff over the grilled kiwi to serve.

Grilled Banana Split Style

What do you need:

  • 4 bananas, cut in half lengthwise (with peel)
  • 2 cups peanut butter, chopped
  • 2 cups creamy cashew ice cream dessert
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

Heat the chocolate chips and milk in a saucepan, stirring constantly, until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth. Add the peanut butter and maple syrup and continue stirring until all ingredients are well combined. Remove from heat. Heat plantains cut-side down on a preheated grill until nice grill marks appear. Flip once and continue grilling until plantains have softened. When ready, remove the peels and place 2 bananas in each serving bowl. Place 2 tablespoons of cashew ice cream in each bowl for warm milk chocolate mixture and top with chopped peanut butter cups.

Grilled Peaches with Mint and Cinnamon

What do you need:

  • 6 peaches, halved and seeded
  • 12 teeth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, divided
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar

Place 1 clove in each peach half and sprinkle with mint and cinnamon. In a small bowl, combine the butter, honey, and brown sugar, then brush each peach with the mixture. Heat peaches on preheated grill over medium-high heat for 4 to 6 minutes. Meanwhile, beat heavy cream with 1/2 cup powdered sugar. When the peaches are done, place them on a serving platter. Top each peach with 1/2 tablespoon of cream sugar, then top with remaining powdered sugar.
