3 Methods to Generate More Leads, Calls, and Sales With Video Marketing

Are you using videos as part of your Facebook marketing strategy? Are you sharing videos on YouTube? YouTube shared that only 1 user out of 1000 is uploading video content. Anyone who doesn’t upload videos is simply an audience member, while those who share videos are the ones who control the station!

Whether you like video, hate it, or are indifferent, there is no doubt that video will continue to play a bigger role in business and entertainment. With Google allowing TVs to easily watch YouTube and Facebook spreading video wildly through News Feed (hey, who doesn’t like cats), now is the time to put video to work for your business. While it may not be possible for a kitty to demonstrate his product on an iPad, we encourage you to consider the following video marketing strategies to get the most out of his efforts.

  1. Ask your audience to act – On video you can speak to your audience. Your video doesn’t need to be an infomercial with the hard sell; you can invite your audience to take an action that doesn’t require a credit card. As you share value, spark interest and engage your audience, ask them to like your video (when on Facebook) or ask them to like you on YouTube. By asking your audience to take action on the video, you can increase engagement and get more exposure. Of course, you can go a step further (video mixing is important) by inviting them to call you, email you, and yes, take action by investing in your product/service.
  2. Include video in a blog post – When you have someone’s attention, keep them even more engaged with your copy. Write a blog post that complements your video. You can share tips that aren’t in the video and give prospects one more chance to take action. By using your video in a blog post, you can dramatically increase the time a user stays on your site; approaching the sale.
  3. Remind people of your video via email – Videos can have a short lifespan (there’s always a cute kitty). Get more out of your video marketing efforts by including reminders to watch your videos in your autoresponder stream. It can be a short email like “Hey I thought you might like this video…” Keep it simple and let people know you have more value to share on your YouTube channel or Facebook.

When you ask your audience to take action, include videos in your blog posts, and even remind them in your autoresponder to watch your videos, you’ll be able to generate more leads and sales with your video marketing efforts.
