Pasquini Livia 90 Automatic espresso machine: a history of espresso

The original Pasquini Livia 90 was created in the mid-1990s and has been in the category of high-end espresso makers ever since.

The espresso machine dates back to the late 1800s, early 1900s. An Italian businessman, Luigi Bezzera, was considering how to make coffee faster. This was an attempt to get their employees to spend less time on coffee breaks. He found that if he added pressure to the brewing process, the coffee was produced much faster. He also found that the end result was a much richer and more flavorful coffee. The term “espresso” means “fast” in Italian. Hence the modern name “espresso”.

In 1901, Luigi Bezzera applied for a patent for his invention. The equipment at the time was huge compared to modern espresso machines. A man named Desiderio Pavoni bought the Bezzera patent in 1903. Pavoni had a background in marketing, and therefore the espresso machine was on its way to being accepted in Italy.

It appears to have arrived in the United States in 1927, when Pavoni’s company installed one in a New York restaurant. Over the years, the demand for this rich tasting coffee has grown. As demand increased, so did the quality of the machines.

In 1951, Ambrose Pasquini, an Italian immigrant to the United States, imported an espresso machine for his personal use. He had come to the United States in 1946 and greatly missed the strong and rich taste of Italian espresso. Others began to show interest in Pasquini’s new type of coffee. It began to import more machines. I would upgrade them to a higher level and sell them.

Finally, he was creating his own machines. The Pasquini name became synonymous with quality in the espresso machine industry.

Today, espresso is a common drink around the world. It is one of the mainstays of all high-end coffee shops and restaurants. Given the acceptable profit margin for this delicious tasting treat, companies are doing well financially providing it to their customers.

Beyond that, people now enjoy drinking at home. Thus, they avoid a high cost for your favorite cup of espresso. At the same time, they can enjoy it in the comfort of their own home.

Today’s machine bears little resemblance to the eyesore that was the original espresso machine. The Pasquini Livia 90 sits elegantly on the kitchen counter. Clad in stainless steel, it is a small elegant appliance for the kitchen.

In order to describe the espresso process, the term “espresso bean” is used. This is a bit of a misnomer because, in fact, there are no espresso beans. The espresso bean is really the coffee bean. These beans are available in supermarkets and specialty stores. In the espresso process, the coffee beans are ground to a very fine level. This finely ground coffee is available ground or in easy-to-use packages. However, there is nothing like a freshly ground cup of espresso. Ask any connoisseur of this tasty drink.

You will find a Pasquini in many of the best restaurants in the world. Also, if you paid close attention, you would have seen Pasquini in movies like Pretty Woman and You Got Mail. Also, in episodes of Friends, Frasier and CSI.
