Chrome’s Top 10 Features – Google’s New Browser

Google has finally released its browser called ‘Chrome’. On their official website they have mentioned the technical details in CARTOON BOOK format, which undermines the seriousness of the software they have developed.

It’s too early to compare Chrome to any other browser, but here are the top 10 features that I find useful and practical.

Chrome’s top 10 features

1. Tabbed interface: with the tabs at the top.

2. Dockable windows: move it and the window status will move as well.

3. The omnibox handles more than just URLs. It offers suggestions for searches, most visited pages, pages that you have not visited but are popular and the best feature is the full text search in history.

4. Autocomplete to something you have explicitly typed before. (Online termination that is very discreet).

5. A very useful and thoughtful feature that is incorporated into the default new tab is that it opens with the nine most visited websites (thumbnails) left and right, the sites you search the most.

6. Google Chrome has a privacy mode. The pages visited here will never be recorded on your computer, which means there are no cookies, etc.

7. The pop-up windows will be sent to their own tab. To make the popup visible, just drag it out and it will promote to its own window.

8. Sandboxing: the weapon against malware.

9. Very simple interface. No menu bars cluttering the window.

10. Easy discharge system. A simple method of pressing a button.
